Muibi Opeyemi - A symbol of focus and determination

It is no gainsaying that an average undergraduate in Nigeria finds it really difficult to survive on campus. The battle for survival had thrown a whole lot of youths to the streets with each gender engaging in one absurdity or the other.  This alone is capable of totally shifting the focus of a student from his/her primary aim of being in School. Despite that, some people will rather work hard legitimately to make money. During the week, our correspondent came across a young man in his early 20s, identified as Muibi Opeyemi who alongside his academics, is into foot wear business.

Today, most tertiary institutions harbour below-par scholars who have occupied themselves with one aside job or the other, thereby creating little or no time for study. This is not disconnected from the fact that students now divert their focus and determination on doing things that fetch them money to live good on campus, hence, neglecting their primary aim. In essence, only a few have been able to  successfully combine brilliance and talent. Without mincing words, our guest for this week, Muibi Opeyemi, is one of the lucky few.

  PROFILE

Muibi Opeyemi is first of the four wonderful children granted to Mr and Mrs Muibi.  He attended Ikhlas Nursery and Primary School, Ring road, Ibadan, Oyo State (2001-2007). After the completion of his elementary education, he proceeded to Bashorun Ogunmola Junior Secondary School in Ibadan, Oyo State before eventually moving Oladipo Alayande School of Science, Oke Bola, Ibadan where he earned his SSCE in 2013.  He is presently a final student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He is studying Agricultural Extension and Rural development.

More than ever, the recent years have witnessed a surge in the number of students who find it difficult to tap into their own talent or seek alternative means for financial freedom while in school. Rather than engaging in illicit and shady deals, Opeyemi has his sights set on making legal money through the lucrative footwear making - a business he has been into for five years.  He's the CEO of Creature Foot wears. The few products seen in his stock, shows that he's good at what he does. In spite of all these, he remains a phenomenal in academic performance.  His brilliance, coupled with other personal gifts can help him  unlock the doors of financial breakthrough.

Today, he has etched his name in the minds of his customers as a creative foot wear maker. This is worthy of emulation, an inspiration to every other student who had previously thought two can't go at a time. Muibi Opeyemi is doing fantastically in his studies and delivering clinical foot wears to his customers. It is easy to say fortune has smiled at this young man who already found himself a befitting handiwork with his degree in view.
