Ogun PDP mourns property magnate, Asiwaju Olajide Awosedo



   Ogun State chapter of the  Peoples Democratic Party has expressed grief shock over the death news of the property magnate and one time gubernatorial aspirant of the Party, Asiwaju Olajide Awosedo who died on the 18th of June, 2019.

   Reacting to his death in Abeokuta, the State Chairman of the Party in Ogun, Hon. Sikirulahi Ogundele described the death of Asiwaju Awosedo as a big loss to the party, his family and the State as a whole. He extended his condolences to the Awosedo family and attested to the fact that the deceased lived a life of service and good example.

  Ogundele's condolence message was contained in a statement made available to newsmen today by his media assistant.

  Part of the statement reads, "On behalf of our dear party, I join the good people of Ogun State to commiserate with the entire family of Awosedo on the passing of their illustrious son and one time gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Asiwaju Olajide Awosedo.

   "Asiwaju Awosedo was a consummate party man who served the party to the best of his ability. He will be remembered for his  patriotism. Without mincing words, he will be dearly missed and I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his sins and rest his soul in perfect peace", it added.
