OMO'BA DAMILARE BELLO SYMPATHIZES WITH VICTIMS OF SABO MARKET INFERNO

   Omo'ba Damilare Bello ( DRE as he is fondly called) condole and sympathize with the victims of sabo market fire ourbreak and the good people of sagamu. He received the news from reliable source from London, that fire gutted our main popular market in sagamu, he described the incident as a shock and quite unfortunate in the history of the market. He pleads to the victims to take the incident as act of God.      He therefore, call on government of the day and well-meaning individual to come to the aid of the victims by giving them any good support to comfort and relieve them for the great lost they have suffered.   He also advice the market men and women to be vigilant and pro-active in adopting preventive measures to curb such a pathetic incident in the nearest future. He pray to God to condole the victims and give them fortitude to bear the great lost.

Ogun PDP hosts US Consul General, Claire Pierangelo

The United States Consul General, Claire Pierangelo on Monday, 27th January, 2020,  paid a courtesy visit to the leading opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogun state Chapter to interact with the opposition party and feel the pulse of the opposition for the purpose of enhancing true democracy.  The delegation which also included the Political Officer of the United States Consulate General office in Lagos, Jillian Itharat was received in the State Capital,  Abeokuta by the PDP Deputy National Chairman (South) Elder Yemi Akinwonmi and notable leaders of the party across the state. Wife gets husband arrested on his way to marry 5th wife

A Nigerian based in Canada, Akinbamide Akinrele, has landed in trouble after he reportedly jilted his four wives and children, sneaked into the country to get married to his 5th wife and was arrested before for the traditional marriage, which is coming up on Saturday. He was arrested at his home at Emmanuel Osakwe Street, Oreleope area of Egbeda, Lagos, following report to the Police by one of his wives, Mrs. Bisola, that he abandoned her and their three children since 2000, sent them away from their matrimonial home and failed to provide for the upkeep of their three boys aged, 13, 15 and 17. He was later charged before the Court for negligence and may likely spend several years in imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court for the alleged offence. Sim card : Man sues Buhari's daughter, DSS, demands N500m

A trader, Anthony Okolie, who was arrested by the Department of State Services and detained for 10 weeks, has sued the DSS for N500m. Okolie, in a suit filed before the Federal High Court in Asaba, Delta State, by his lawyer, Tope Akinyode, also demanded N500m from Hanan Buhari, the daughter of the President, Major General Muhammadu (retd.), as well as a telecommunications company, MTN. The suit, with number FHC/ASB/CS/3/2020, is seeking an order to “compel the respondents (DSS, Hanan and MTN) jointly or severally to pay the applicant the sum of N500,000,000 only as general and aggravated damages for the gross and unlawful violation of the applicant’s right to acquire moveable properties, freedom of movement and self dignity.” The 33-year-old man said in a supporting affidavit that he was arrested on July 19, 2019, in Asaba, Delta State, for using a telephone line that was previously owned by Hanan. One dies in Ijebu Ode-Ore Expressway auto crash

" id="primary"> The Federal Road Safety Corps Command in Ogun State, on Wednesday, confirmed the death of one person following an auto crash on Ijebu Ode-Ore Expressway. The state FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Clement Oladele, made this known while speaking with the  News Agency of Nigeria in Ota. Oladele said the lone accident happened about 11.25pm on Tuesday. He explained that a Toyota Sienna Bus, with registration number, FKJ 453XW, was speeding when its tyres burst and in the process lost control and somersaulted into the bush. He said nine persons — five male adults, three female adults and a female child — were involved in the accident. “The corpse of the female victim has been deposited at the mortuary of General Hospital, Ijebu Ode, while two of the survivors are also receiving treatment at the same hospital. “The third survivor who is a child was taken to Ise Oluwa Clinic J3 by a Good Samaritan before the arrival of FRSC rescue team,” he said. Larry Ehizo, a Customer Service Officer of a first-generation bank in Abuja, has told the police how he got involved in last Saturday’s failed bank robbery attack in Mbappe, a surburb in the Federal Capital of Territory. Larry who was paraded before newsmen at the FCT police command headquarters, said the mastermind of the robbery, one Ernest, who is at large, had threatened to kill him, his girlfriend and his family if he did not help him and his gang members to rob the bank. The 30-year-old University of Abuja graduate, said he drove the five robbers into the bank premises in his vehicle.
