Eid-el-Kabir : Ogun NYCN Deputy Chairman calls for National prayer amidst Celebration

....Says prayers is needed for peace and progress of the country  The Deputy Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Ogun State, Comrade Olawale Senbadejo has called on all Muslims that they should seek the face of God, for peace and progress of the country. Senbadejo in his message to all Muslims across the country, says that, this is not just a mood of celebration alone, but a time to pray to Almighty Allah, to help the country end every problems, that is militating against the peaceful coexistence of the Nation.  Eid Kabir is a Feast of "the Sacrifice,” referring to the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice Ismail (Ishmael) on Mount Moriah, according to Islamic tradition. Eid-el-Kabir : DRE urges Muslims to be committed to the tenets of Islam

The Founder of  DMB FOUNDATION  which is deep-rooted in helping to alleviate poverty and impact the lives of the downtrodden in Sagamu,  Omooba Damilare Bello (DRE)  has conveyed his hearty felicitations to Muslims on the occasion of this year's Eid el Kabir.  In a message issued by his DG, Prince Adebowale Animashaun, Bello urged the people to show love to one another so as to reflect the occasion of Sallah. Former NIMASA Boss, Ezekiel Bala jailed for N1.5bn fraud

A Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced a former Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Executive Director (ED), Captain Ezekiel Bala Agaba, to seven years imprisonment for laundering N1.5 billion. Gokada Founder, Fahim Saleh found dead in his New York apartment

 The Chief Executive Officer of former bike-hailing company 'Gokada', Falim Saleh was on Tuesday found dead in his New York, United States apartment. Saleh’s body was found headless and dismembered inside his $1 million luxury Lower East Side apartment which he bought in 2019.   The body of the 33-year-old was discovered by his sister who became worried after not hearing from him in a day. She visited and found him headless while his body had been cut up and sorted into different plastic bags. A power-saw which was still plugged in was also found in the apartment. According to several reports, police believe they have surveillance footage of the suspect entering the building and then using the elevator. The footage is said to show the suspect in a glove and a mask covering his face sharing the elevator with Saleh up to the seventh floor. First and only female combat helicopter pilot in Nigeria, Tolulope Arotile dies

The Nigerian Air Force ( NAF ) has regretfully announced the unfortunate demise of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile , who died on Tuesday, 14 July 2020, as a result of head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident at NAF Base Kaduna.‬ Until her death, ‪Flying Officer Arotile, who was commissioned into the NAF in September 2017 as a member of Nigerian Defence Academy Regular Course 64, was the first ever female combat helicopter pilot in the Service.‬  During her short but impactful stay in the Service, late Arotile, contributed significantly to the efforts to rid the North Central States of armed bandits and other criminal elements by flying several combat missions under Operation GAMA AIKI in Minna, Niger State.  Her death already sprang grief among Nigerian parents who described her death as an irreparable loss and had since sent in their condolence messages. 

Ogun East PDP women leaders hold inaugural meeting, pass vote of confidence on Bamgbose-led Exco

,   Women leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Ogun East Senatorial District in Ogun State, held their maiden meeting today, 10th of July, 2020.    The meeting was the first since their emergence. The newly appointed Senatorial Women leader, Alhaja Bulky Adekunle (Radiant), had called to meet with the nine local government women leaders while invitation was also extended to one leader from each of the local governments. This was done with strict adherence to the government's directives on social gathering.    In her welcome address,   Alhaja Adekunle appreciated the women leaders for yielding to her call.
