RAMA-DONE: Ogun NURTW sends warm greetings to Muslim Faithfuls in Nigeria


 The Ogun State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) under the amiable Chairmanship of Alh. Akeem Bodunrin (Iyeru), has sent warm greetings to the Ummah on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Fitr festival. 

  In a statement released by the media team, the Union felicitates with Muslims as the celebrate the completion of their fast and the blessings of renewed faith that come with it.

 "As Muslims around the world gather to celebrate the 2020 Eid Fitr, our Union in Ogun State, under the Chairmanship of Alh. Akeem Bodunrin wish to convey our warmest greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters. 

 "We pray to Almighty Allah to grant His guidance unto everyone, safeguard our faith, unite our ranks, strengthen our solidarity  and make the world a prosperous and peaceful one. We wish that our lives will glorify Almighty Allah and give joy to those around us. May the blessings you received during this Ramadan be with you in this world and hereafter", the statement reads.  

  The Union also commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his vigorous efforts towards curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, urging the public to stick to the government's directives on staying safe from the disease. 

 "Finally, we wish to commend our amiable Governor in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the measures put in place to curtail and contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. As citizens, it is our duty to ensure we do away with everything which tends to sabotage the efforts of the government in this regards. May Almighty Allah keep us safe from the dreadful disease", the statement concluded.
