Ogun Politics Today : Why we pitched tent with Hon. Ladi Adebutu - U-Seven Media Concept

In politics,  they say there is no permanent friend or enemy, what we have is permanent interest.  As we all know, the primary interest of any genuine member of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State is to see the Party winning elective positions at all levels.

After the 2019 election, the U-Seven Media concept, a social media based team,  had a thorough review of it, paying a close attention the performance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State.  We came to the conclusion that there is an urgent need to foster peace and unity among members of the Party, especially the bigwigs.  We are of the opinion that anything short of this would bring nothing but a recurrence of the below-par performance recorded this election year.

On our decision to shift base and work with Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, it was a conclusion made after weighing several options before us. It is our wish to relate with a more youth friendly individual who prioritizes the development of youths.  Interestingly, Hon. Adebutu holds no grudge against members of the team despite everything that transpired in the build up to the 2019 general election.  He welcomed us and promised to give 100% support when needed. The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not followers and we have found this quality in Hon. Ladi Adebutu.

In his words, we are confident that Ogun State has produced another kind hearted leader with the spirit of forgiveness.  Hence, it is our collective decision to work hand in hand with him and play a prominent role in positioning the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for victory in 2023.
